The flight into Cusco was really shaky. It was going really fast or really slow because Cusco was in the mouantains and it was hard to land. When we got to Cusco my belly started hurting because we were 3500 meters above sea level and my sister got dizzy from the height too. The next day we had to get used to the height so we walked around Cusco and went to the city center. There are lots of old churchs which look cool. A bit later we went to an Inca city. The Incas were a strong tribe that had lots of cities which you can look at. This Inca city was quite well known it was big. You had a quite good view of the city then. The next day we had a taxi for us and looked at more Inca cities. The first one we looked at had rock slides and we went down them. And it had a wall which went up and down to resemble jaguar teeth. The next one we went to we saw lots of birds. It was mostly a family of woodpeckers. I think this Inca city was for growing plants. Next we went to Moray it was a huge vegtable garden they had differnt teracces and each had a differnt climate zone. We saw humminbirds there too, there was one with a really long tail and lots of normal ones. The next day we took a taxi too a train station. From the train station we took a train to Machu Picchu. And stayed at a hotel for a night and then had to wake up really early and had breakfast. Then we walked to a bus station and took a bus to Machu Picchu. When we got to Machu Picchu we went to Waynu Picchu and climbed up it that’s where you get the best view of Machu Picchu. After we climbed down and looked at Machu Picchu. We had a guide and he showed us good spots to look at. All the houses were made with stone and straw for the roof. Machu Picchu had a wall surrounded village for saftey. Then we had to head back down and take a bus back to Cusco. The next day in Cusco we had a walk up a mountain to a Inca village after that we walked back down and headed to the bus station to Arequipa.
