SOUTH AMERICA (IGUAZU FALLS) (ARGENTINA SIDE)SOUTH AMERICA (IGUAZU FALLS) (ARGENTINA SIDE)

When we got to Puerto Iguazu it was really sunny but while we were in the taxi it just started raining really hard in seconds. But lucky the drive to our hotel was quite long so by the time we got to the hotel it had already stopped. We didn’t do much that day just got some food for breakfast the next morning. And quickly hopped in the pool because, luckily the hotel had one. It wasn’t that big but big enough for us. After that we went to one of the best restaurants in Pureto Iguazu because it was my parents wedding anniversary. My dad had a steak with berry sauce on it, it looked good. The next day it rained a lot so we just stayed in the pool for a long time. Later we tried to do a walk but as we thought it started raining, so we had to go home. When the rain stopped we quickly went to a hummingbird sancutry. Luckly it didn’t rain while we were there, my favourite humminbird was this one that had a purple head and a swallow like tail. I think it was the boss because it always shooed the others away. The next day we finally went to the Iguazu falls. Iguazu falls has more than 320 bird species, we probaly only saw 20 to 30 bird species. Iguazu falls is the biggest waterfall in the world I think. While we were there we did quite a few walks and on some of the walks there were coatis and we saw some cool birds. On one of the walks we crossed a bridge and underneath the bridge there was a crocodile. But the track we really wanted to do was closed, thats were you had the best chance of seeing toucans and other cool birds. Then we went to the best view of Iguazu falls on the way we saw this kingfisher, later we figured out its the biggest in South America. When you got to the waterfalls you got wet because when the water hit the bottom water sprayed up on you. And when the sun came ou there was a rainbow and somtimes a double rainbow. On the way back we saw this woodpecker it had a orange, yellow and red breast. And when we were about to enter the train back, two parketes flew by and landed in a tree. On the train ride we saw a turtle and a lizard. And when we hopped out of the train a small falcon landed in the tree and a bit later dad spotted a big eagle in a tree quite far away, it was eating another big bird. I think we are very lucky because you don’t see big waterfalls like that every day in your life, so it was pretty cool (Lucky us). Later that day we went to a viewpoint were you couuld see Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil in one look. I think thats quite hard to find anywhere else in the world. While we where at the view point we saw a lot of small blue birds and a red one. And to make it even better we had butterflys landing on us. My favourite was this red and blue one. Just before we were going to bed we looked through the photos and realised we had seen a toucan. We couldn’t tell earlier because it was so far away but a close look showed we had seen one.

THE END
