We arrived with the overnight bus in Calama. Firstly we went to a restaurant for breakfast because it was my dad’s birthday🥳. After that we went to pick up the car that we rented. Next we drove to San Pedro de Atacama. Then we went to our hostal and setteled in. Soon after we went to the mini market nextdoor. Then we went to a salt lagoon were you can just float in the water. When you hop out and the water has dried you are white everywhere from the salt! Also we saw 13 flamingos at the salt lagoons! The next day we drove to a lagoon where we saw some flamingos again. Then we kept on driving to the next lagoon. We saw lots of flamingos there. On the way back we saw one Reah, they look like Emus. After that we went to a big dune. The sand was really hot and we were sliding down on plastic bags but it didn’t really work. Next we went to the ranbow mountain they were mostly red and green but the still looked cool. Then we went into town for dinner. After that we went star gazing. And I saw one shooting star! Gesa saw two, my dad saw one. The next day we went to the gesiers. On the way there we saw lots and lots of flamingos! And some were really close. When we arrived we first went to the gesiers. They weren’t that big but they still looked really cool! Then we saw one which was at least 1 or 2 meters high! Then we went to a hot spring which had really small gesiers in it. And hot water from a gesier going into the hot spring. Later in the evening we went to Valle de Luna where we had a sunset but sadly the moon was behind the mountin. The next day we had to wake up early to go on the bus to Salta. Before that we said bye bye to Gesa. It was fun traveling with her.
