We first arrived in Arequipa and then we took a taxi to Cabanaconde. Firstley we had a stop at Curz Del Condor but it was very misty. Suprisingly our taxi driver found a Condor! Then we kept on driving until we finally arrived at Cabanaconde. Cabanaconde is located in the colca canyon, one of the deepest canyons in the world.
After we checked into our hostal and, we went looking around a bit. The next day we went to Cruz Del Condor very early, and there we went on a small walk. When we finshed the walk we saw 6 or 7 Condors! A little later we saw one Condor family: a mother, a father and a juvinile. Soon we saw two more. In total we saw 11 Condors! And it was really cool. In the afternoon we went for a walk down the canyon and saw some more condors. Next we did another small walk which leads to the valley where we saw the condors flying to. But we didn’t find the condors. The next day we had to wake up early to go to Arequipa. We stopped at Cruz del Condor and when we where about to leave a Condor flew over us and landed beside the road! We took a lot of pictures of the sitting condor. My favourite thing about colca canyon was all the condors!
Then we kept on going to Arequipa.
